Where can I hear music in a public space?
@Middle East Restaurant and Nightclub - I know this is in Cambridge, but it's really cool. There are 4 different sections to the entire thing, with different kinds of music in each. For TONS of venue listings and shows check out this new really cool site that just launched:

Where can I find best small venue for live music?
@Tavern At the End of the World - Small but really cool, chill, rad, awesome! and it's RIGHT over the Charlestown Bridge and a nice change of pace for those of us always at the same venues.
Where can I find the best underground art gallery?
@Lot F Gallery - One of the best galleries for sure! Really amazing street artists with crazy talent. The shows are always a blast, tons of cool people, free wine and beer, and sick DJing. Shows are usually on the last Friday of every month, find them on facebook for monthly invites to the shows.
Where can I find fashionable but waterproof snow boots?
@DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse - lots of styles and not too expensive!
Where can I find a quiet place to study, that's not a library?
@Boston Common Coffee Co. - This is a cute cafe that has chairs, sofas, and tables in the North End. It's not huge and it does have some in and out traffic at certain times, but it is really soothing and relaxing in there. I often go there to read or write and don't ever get distracted. Also, they have great coffee, tea, pastries, and sandwiches!
Where can I buy a funky handbag or clutch for my nights out?
@Forever 21 - Cliche place, but it has a huge selection of bags and clutches, different sizes and for cheap! They constantly get new items in as well, so not everyone will have the same bag :)
Where can I find a place to sing karaoke?
@Sissy K's - in Fanieul Hall has Karaoke most nights; its small enough to definietly get a turn but the place is usually pretty packed with drunk listeners and singers, so its always good for a laugh
Where can I go watch live hip-hop?
@Good Life - great bar that usually has hip hop shows during the week and weekends
Where can I find cute work-out clothes in?
@Marshalls - has a bunch of cute gym gear and its not too expensive!
