Tip n' Tag will:

• To the best of it’s ability remove questions, answers and comments that involve the use of:
• Derogatory language
• The sale or purchase of illegal substances and/or services
• Moderate and/or remove answers that are irrelevant and/or mislead users as deemed by administrators, users or third parties
• Moderate and/or remove questions, answers, comments, messages that are intended as spam

Tip n' Tag is not responsible for:

• The quality and/or knowhow of the answers being provided
• Negative or positive promotion of businesses, institutions, organizations, public locations, products and services discussed on Tip n' Tag
• Any pursuit of illegal actions by a user or visitor of Tip n' Tag in any manner whatsoever
• Any slander committed by a user or visitor towards a public figure, professional, individual or fictitious character representing an institution or organization

Tip n' Tag Allows Users To:

• Ask a question
• Answer a question
• Vote on a question
• Comment on other user’s answers
• Follow other users and track their questions and answers

Information About Yourself:

When you sign up for Tip n' Tag you provide us with your email. If you decide to connect via Facebook Connect or provide additional information during the optional registration process you have the right to keep your date of birth, gender and contact information private. During the registration process and on other pages throughout the website we give you the opportunity to connect with your friends and people interested in products, services and/or hobbies you may be interested in as well. You will also be able to add a picture of yourself. In some cases we may ask for additional information for security reasons or to provide specific services to you. Once you register you can provide other information about yourself by identifying your current city, hometown, activities, places and interests.

You provide us information in User Content you post to Tip n' Tag. Your questions, answers, and other contributions on Tip n' Tag, and metadata about them (such as when you posted them), are publicly viewable on the Service, along with your name (unless the Service permits you to post anonymously). This information may be searched by search engines and be republished elsewhere on the Web in accordance with our Terms of Service.

If you choose to use our invitation service to invite a friend to Tip n' Tag, we will ask you for that person's email address and automatically send an email invitation. Tip n' Tag stores this information to send this email, to register your friend if your invitation is accepted, and to track the success of our invitation service.


Friend Information:

We offer contact importer tools to help you upload your friends’ addresses so that you can find your friends on Tip n' Tag, and invite your contacts who do not have Tip n' Tag accounts to join.


Automatic Information:

We automatically collect some information about your computer when you visit Tip n' Tag. For example, we will collect session data, including your IP address, Web browser software, and referring Web site. We use information we collect to analyze how Tip n' Tag is used, diagnose service or technical problems, maintain security, personalize content, remember information to help you efficiently access your account, monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic, and demographic patterns, and track User Content and users as necessary to comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and other applicable laws. One of our goals in collecting this automatic information is to help us understand the interests of our users and to customize user experience.


Non-Personally Identifiable Information:

We may share non-personally identifiable information (such as anonymous usage data, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, number of clicks, etc.) with interested third parties to help them understand the usage patterns for certain Tip n' Tag services.

Tip n' Tag may allow third-party ad servers or ad networks to serve advertisements on the website and related phone application(s). These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to send, directly to your browser, the advertisements and links that appear on Tip n' Tag. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. They may also use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or web beacons) to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalize the advertising content. Tip n' Tag does not provide any personally identifiable information to these third-party ad servers or ad networks without your consent. However, please note that if an advertiser asks Tip n' Tag to show an advertisement to a certain audience and you respond to that advertisement, the advertiser or ad server may conclude that you fit the description of the audience they are trying to reach. The Tip n' Tag Privacy Policy does not apply to, and we cannot control the activities of, third-party advertisers. Please consult the respective privacy policies of such advertisers for more information.


Your Choices About Your Information:

You may, of course, decline to submit personally identifiable information through Tip n' Tag, in which case we may not be able to provide certain services to you. You may update or correct your account information and email preferences at any time by logging in to your account.


Children's Privacy:

Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. Tip n' Tag does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register with Tip n' Tag. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information.

We are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from Tip n' Tag, nor the information or content contained therein. Please remember that when you use a link to go from Tip n' Tag to another website, our Privacy Policy is no longer in effect. Your browsing and interaction on any other website, including those that have a link on our website, is subject to that website's own rules and policies.

If we change our privacy policies and procedures, we will post those changes on this page to keep you aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we may disclose it. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
