If you don't get any tips and want a cheap alternative, I'd recommend you collect egg crates. You can basically spray paint them when you have enough and cover up the entire room with blue tac or two sided tape and you've got yourself an affordable soundproofing solution. Its a last resort choice but its a decent one, trust me I've tried.

Thanks man, no worries, plan B is ready, if I don't find it here , I have no problem ordering it all the way from the States :)
It's pricey though. The good stuff costs around $75 per square foot if I am not mistaken.
Where can I get those exactly ?
