@Shams community in rainbow street. They have weekly get togethers where they discuss different topics. You'll meet many locals and foreigners there as well. Try taghmeesah group as well, you will find their page/group on facebook.

Check out @Central Amman Library. It's a public library and a public space where you can meet tons of interesting people from different backgrounds.
