The best and most delicious spot in Amman is @Whispers they have signature platters fried calamari, shrimp and others plus you can order it grilled or fried so its a great option.

@Whispers makes a really good place, I see men in suits at lunch time there all the time. They open for lunch from 12:00 pm till 3:30 but the kitchen closes at 3:00 so you need to be there early. Really good food, it's always a safe choice

Where can I eat the tastiest assortment of "fukhara" style plates?

I have two favorites when it comes to fukhara plates and their yummy garlic infused taste! For non-meaty fukhara plates go to @Vintage they have some really tasty shrimp bi fukhara and brie bi fukhara that are honestly to die for. When it comes to chicken or veal, I'd recommend you go to @Whispers for your fix, although I'm not sure that is specifically on the menu but don't be shy! Order it!
