@Romero is great if you want to go on a "proper" date. @The Corner's Pub still has its charm, but it's a bit more laid back

There's No place give public speaking but you can find groups who talks to anyone in @The Corner's Pub and enjoy talking there

You should probably go attend open mic nights at places like @The Corner's Pub to see if you find anyone that suits your musical style and approach them.
Where can I find a cool bar with a western vibe?
Alright, in general it'll be very difficult to find a place in Amman where people won't stare at you if your displaying PDA. However some of the most laid back bars in terms of people and in this order - @Amigo Pub @The Corner's Pub @Bonita Restaurant and possibly @Maestro Restaurant and Bar just because a lot of expats frequent it so they're used to that.
Where can I find out what the 'it' pub on a Wednesday night is?
@The Corner's Pub has been consistently getting better and because its a neighborhood bar to so many of my friends I feel it would be one of my first choices on a Wednesday night. You also have the classic choice for weeknights in general which is @Bonita Restaurant. Both of these places are clearly a more laid back option compared to OTR.

Go to @The Corner's Pub or @Bonita Restaurant the weeknights there are pretty chilled out and you're bound to bump into some cool people.

@The Corner's Pub usually have a band playing at least once a week. Its got a nice vibe to it on those days.
Where can I find a good pub to sit there alone?
It's always good to have a big bar in the pub if you're planning on going alone. One place that has that is @The Corner's Pub and although a bit smaller @The Queen Vic they usually are very accommodating to the solo drinking on the bar scene.
